Lance has been known to be called the Emmett of the Mayset coven. Much like Emmett Cullen, Lance has been described as being very tall, very burly, and rather immidating intimidating. However, Emmett stands just a little bit taller than Mister Lance Mayset. However he has a rather filled out form like Emmett, he is not regarded as being overweight, just rather muscular. However, Lance is not one to be as bubbly as Emmett. Around company he keeps his face hardened, edgey and tough. However when the few people who know him can crack a smile his big white grin lights up his whole face.

Since turning into a Vampire his once tanned skin has become pale skin and his baby browns are now golden eyes that darken as he becomes more thirsty. He has a number of scars that where former battle wounds, caused by bullet wounds in his upper bicep and the fatal blow to the leg. Also, has his family name 'Alcott' tattooed across his chest. Lance likes this era and everything in it, including the clothes. He is like a regular guy. Tees, jeans and has become a huge fan of flannet t-shirts. He had been since the 80's.

• Born in London England, in 1927. On his birth certificate he is Lance Anthony Alcott.
  
• Father was a wealthy business man and mother a housewife.
  
• Three years old. Grandfather died, his Grandfather lived in South Africa. The family went over to his funeral.
  
• Parents brought a house in Cape Town, South Africa. Shipped over to Africa when Lance was Four.
  
• At six years old his parents sent him to an English boarding school
  
• 1939 The Second World War started. The Alcott Family went back to England. Lance was 12 years old.
  
• Lance's uncle, older brother, and older sister all shipped off to the war
  
• 1940; both Lance's uncle and brother died respectabley in combat
  
• 1942; Lance's sisters base she was working on was bombed. She survived however suffered servere trama and injuries.
  
• In 1943. Entered the war at sixteen year olds. Lied about his age. Said he was 19 which was the minimum serving age at the time.
  
• Two weeks after Lance was enlisted he was shipped over to Ciaro for training
  
• After a couple months of training he was shipped off to war.
  
• In battle, a year later, Lance was wounded but was one of the few who lived to tell the tale.
  
• Shipped off to get tended to, Lance came out lucky, only to have a perminant injury with his leg. He was to spend the rest of his in a wheelchair.
  
• 1944; Lance's sister commits suicide in her London apartment after years of instense therpay which did not help her constant physcologyical torture.
  
• 8 May, 1945: Germany surrenders (VE Day, Victory in Europe Day)
  
• Lance moves to Ciaro, Egypt to live after the war
  
• Feburary 12th, 1945; Lance turns eighteen
  
• 2 months after his birthday he starts to travel Eygpt. Whilst on his journey he hearings about the local beliefs, which include Gods.. and Vampires?
  
• After a year of travels around Egypt he finally settles down back in Ciaro.
  
• 1948; Lance Alcott moves to New York City in the United States of America. Becomes a colmunist for a small newspaper.
  
• Around January, 1952 Lance gets told to go down South to cover a News Report.
  
• When there collecting research for his article he is attacked. After being knocked over during the attack he could not get up due to his paralysed state. For 3 days he layed on the ground whilst he began having terrible shooting pains through out his body. Afterwards he had never felt more alive.
  
• Suddenly he felt a sudden hunger he could not tame with any food he ate. It wasn't until he ordered in, and the delivery boy came that he truely discovered what he was. However, being a thirsty newborn he couldn't control his urges and started to kill.
  
• After realising what he was doing was wrong he tried to get away from civalisation he found the Mayset clan. Met Elizabeth and blah, blah.. they fell in love.
  
• Changed his name to Lance Anthony Mayset.
  
• Discovered he had special talent .... (in the midst of thinking of one)
  

personality ,

If we sit here comparing eachother to the Cullen's Lance may look like more of an Emmett, however he takes on more Jasper-like qualities. Both men had suffered the affects of war and had come out of it as highly analytical and military mindset. Theres a strong sense of honor about him. Which can sometimes been misintrupted as being cold which is sometimes true. Towards those who mean nothing to him, when certain situations call for it he will show no mercy and feel no regret. Lance is a strong and forceful leader who likes to be in control and be able to protect himself as well as the one that he loves. He happens to be rather protective over Elizabeth some one which he holds dearly to him.

Despite in public he seems like a spectical broodying loner, expecially with all of these new covens around, he has a softer side which not many people see. Through all the heartache he has seen he never takes people vampires for granted anymore. He knows from past experiences how easy it is to lose some one. Even if you are invincable. When it comes to tales of the heart Lance shows he more poetic side, and is a true romantic. He isn't one to flaunt his relationship around to the world either, he likes the whole its just you and me concept.

No matter how tough anyone can get theres always still a little bit of humor left in them. After killing his way through a great war which left him paraplegic, getting attacked by a Vampire and then being left in the dirt screaming in pain then going on a killing spreee.. theres still very few times where Mister Mayset, formerly Alcott finds himself laughing. Despite harderned by all of his woes he has been known to crack his pearly whites and being a charming.. old, young man beast. He has a very sharp wit about him which led him to be a writer, however despite his intellect he has been known to enjoy good slapstick humor. Actually pulling off a few pranks himself.. he is immortal.. got to have some fun sometime, right.

It was clearly becoming a ritual. Every day after Care Of Magical Creatures Bridgette would have to go and chat to the nurse. About another wound that had made its way onto her scrawny little body. You'd think her confidence to handle animals would settle down after the 5th time she had bitten. But, no. Nothing had stopped her for once again holding up her hand to handle the animals. Only to rip open the wounds from last week. It was senseless and stupid. Yet, she was still an animal person. She was either extremely passionate, or rather foolish. And usually those two things went hand in hand. Even though she wouldn't be clutching her bludgeoned hands together any time soon.. Or jumping up and down for joy. Why did the Hogwarts layout have to be so spread out. It was ridiculous. You had to run a marathon to get to class on time.. well, if you slept in late... like Bridgette usually did.

You know how your father told you that you can't die from exhaustion, well remember this, your father loves to tell you white lies. Like the time your bunny died and he said it ran away during your summer leave. Or when he told you that you could be Prime Minister one day when you were terrified of public speaking and you had no idea what it entailed. That's what they did, they lied. If people didn't die from exhaustion then what the heck did the Egyptians die from when they were building the Pyramids? Huh? If it wasn't exhaustion then it was hard work.. and I believe he also said that hard work didn't kill you as well. Case closed. Maybe, he was right when he told me that I could be a lawyer though.. hm.

Just as she reached the sixth floor she felt her legs starting to give up on her. "Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Moses.. whatever higher power lies in the Universe- urgh. I'm too tired.." she groaned, stumbling into the sixth floor. She needed to find somewhere to rest.. but where? What was on the sixth floor. The closest thing she saw was the boys bathroom. No one ever usually used the bathrooms around here, so she was sure that no one was in there. But she knocked to be safe. "`ello.." Bridgette said, closing her eyes as she peered into the door.

Peering into the bathroom, with one eye still squinted shut she crossed her fingers hoping to see no boys doing their 'business'. Oh thank the lord- or whatever you believe in. It was clear. Quickly scattering into the bathroom she ran the tap and washed her face. Letting the beads of water cool down her face, whilst forgetting for a moment that she was in the boys bathroom.
